Not only do PeopleSoft applications cut down on time and costs required to complete business activities, they also aid in content organization and allow users to quickly find the information they are looking for as well. One key way PeopleSoft applications allow users to find information and navigate through the applications easier is through Navigation Collections. Navigation Collections are “taxonomies,” or organizational systems, used to group information found within the PeopleSoft portal registry. By group together content via a group of links, PeopleSoft makes it easy to tailor, or configure, the links to reflect a certain user’s job role. Navigation time is significantly reduced.
