eProfile Manager Desktop

New Clone Position Transaction in Guided Self-Service

Guided self-service enables managers to request a new position that is based on an existing position in their organization. As with all guided self-service transactions, organizations choose what approvals are required.
This new functionality gives managers access to a new guided self-service transaction for copying or cloning positions. The cloning functionality makes it easier to post a new job requisition by cloning descriptions and data for existing positions. Managers start the Clone Position process from the My Team page, where the related actions menu for employees in positions now includes a Clone Position option. Managers are free to keep all, some, or none of the default values in the visible fields. 

 

Employee Snapshot New Content and Enhancements

In PeopleSoft HCM image 22, Employee Snapshot now includes additional tiles, pages, and the new Performance Review dashboard to review an employee’s skill sets and responsibilities. These tiles and pages include a view of an employee’s:
    - Personal competencies
    - Honors and award
    - Responsibilities
    - Licenses and certifications
    - Special projects

 

The PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface also enables talent administrators to determine configuration options for the Employee Snapshot

 

Enhanced Guided Self-Service Transaction for Updating Full/Part Time Status

In PeopleSoft HCM image 22, PeopleSoft transformed Change Full/Part Time Status page into a guided self-service transaction and change the name to Change Full/Part Time or Hours. The modified transaction is delivered with an editable Standard Hours field in addition to the editable Full/Part Time field. Managers can update one or both fields. Additionally, any transaction that includes the Standard Hours field now includes a display-only FTE (full-time equivalent) field. The system automatically calculates and displays the FTE value when the manager changes the employee’s standard hours.

 

eSocial Reporting

eSocial is a nationwide program that is led by the Brazilian government to streamline the transmission of HR and payroll-related information from companies doing business in Brazil to the government in a centralized framework. In preparation for the implementation of eSocial, PeopleSoft Global Payroll for Brazil delivered a new reporting capability for wage type table events (S-1010). The S-1010 event is responsible for capturing earnings, deductions, and informational earnings/deductions that are used in processing employee payroll for companies.

Time and Labor

Time and Labor Manager Self Service Pages

 The PeopleSoft Time and Labor Manager Self Service pages enable the managers to enter time and review weekly, payable time, and leave balances using a Fluid User Interface.
The managers can do all of this and more using a desktop, tablet or a mobile device. The managers can now navigate easily from one component to another (Report Time, Weekly Time, Payable Time,  Leave Balances). This new page helps the managers to enter, modify and view the Timesheets of all of their employees as defined by Time and Labor security

 

Absence Management

Absence Enhanced Integration with Time and Labor

In PeopleSoft HCM image 22. Delivered a new enhanced integration between Absence Management and Time and Labor, Absence or Time and Labor Administrator can run the Absence process iteratively and create Payable Time for Absences. Users do not need to finalize the absence calendar to send the Absence to Time and Labor. Additionally, exceptions generated by the Absence process will be automatically notified in the new Run Control page.
